A combination footwear and apparel release done for adidas cycling.

The goal for this release was to create a combination pack with the cycling commuter in mind. Aesthetically the color and graphic stories were created with the style/sportswear consumer in mind. Color wise the blocking story was created and inspired by the cycling commuters journey using white strips reminiscent of the lines of the road, bright green pops of the traffic lights, and the black of the tarmac. This helped to create an abstract color blocking across the cycling version of the classic adidas track jacket and an accompanying application to the Samba shoe which made for a pair of unique pieces. Both pieces also serve a higher performance function with reflective stripes, windproof materials on the jacket, reflective pieces on the footwear, and SPD clips recessed in the sole of the shoe for easy clip in to pedals.
