Marking the history of Adidas, it’s hard to set aside the influence of Football. With that in mind, the idea of creating a cycling jersey designed to pay homage was birthed.

The approach to the jersey was to design the graphics and badges as they would be if the jersey was meant for the sport of football rather than cycling. The base print itself was inspired by the classic adidas designs of the past such as the iconic Manchester United graphic or the “bruised banana” design for Arsenal. The jersey was then adorned with a custom cycling club crest and sponsor logo as well as the classic number on the back taken for traditional adidas world cup numbering systems of old. All combined you have a football kit in a cycling package.
