The “Rising Sun” graphic pack was created to celebrate the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Inspired by the heritage of Japan and the “Rising Sun” motif, the graphic was created to both pay homage to that but also to the “Rise of the Athlete.” By designing an aesthetic where the graphic on the upper of the shoe and the sole were one, it was meant to mimic the explosive nature of the athlete and their dynamic movements on the pitch. Thus giving way to the “Rise of the Athlete.”
